Out of Form Phalula Claims Cross Country Win

An out-of-form Lebo Phalula beat the best Mapaseka Makhanya (2nd) and Nolene Conrad (3rd) had to offer, to win the senior women’s title at the 2013 Athletics SA Cross Country trials in Boksburg on Saturday, and put herself into pole position for a place in the ASA teams to the Southern Region Championships, and World Championships

Big Field for Cross Country Trials

Lebo Phalula among an elite field also including Christine Kalmer, Tebogo Masehla and Portia Ngwenya heading the biggest field ever for annual Cross Country trials as athletes vie for a place in the Athletics SA squad for two major Cross Country Championships in March.

Big Names for SA Cross Country Trials

Nolene Conrad and Lebo Phalula included in ASA squad for SA Cross Country Trials, in Boksburg on 26 January. The trials are open to any individual, local and international who wants to challenge athletes in the ASA squad, as well as those looking to test their fitness levels.
