Banyana Banyana have lost their second match in a row at the Cyprus Cup despite a much improved performance against the Republic of Ireland. South Africa face Northern Ireland in their final Group C match on Monday.

South Africa lost their opening Group C match 2-0 to South Korea at the Ammacostos Stadium. The 12 nations participating in the 2013 Cyprus Women’s Cup, which kicked off today.
