Bregman and Pace Place SA 13th in World Champs

Stacy Bregman and Lee-Anne Pace take South Africa to 13th place tied out of 19 teams contesting the 2013 Mission Hills World Ladies Champs in China earlier today, with Bregman satisfied with her 22nd-place finish in her first outing of the year.

The South African senior women’s soccer team Banyana Banyana stand on the brink of greatness, faced with the tough task of overcoming CAF African Women Championship 2012 hosts Equatorial Guinea to lift continental honours in Bata on Sunday.

SA Captain Siyoli Waters is currently playing in Mexico where she is seeded fifth for the Aberto Mexicano de Raquets.

Waters to Captain SA at World Champs

Siyoli Waters has been chosen to captain SA’s squash team in the Women’s World Team Championships in France after an impressive showing at the Macau open in China. Waters, who is ranked 48, beat 17th ranked Australian Donna Urqhart.
