Bridgitte Hartley applied a crafty mix of cat ’n mouse and straight-out muscle to walk away with the double at the SA Marathon Canoe Championships on the weekend, winning the K2 title with new partner Melissa van Rooyen in a fast finish through the tight canals of St Francis Bay on Sunday.
