Maritz Finishes 3rd in Irish Open

  South Africa’s Laurette Maritz stormed to a second top-scoring tournament total during 2007 at the Hilton Templepatrick Golf Course, as inclement weather failed to dent her the Northern Ireland Ladies Open ambitions.

Day 3 of the regatta was much like the first two days, no wind in the morning and gradually by 11am, 4 – 6 knots from everywhere!

The forecast for today was for a little more breeze (10 – 15knots) than the previous 3 days of racing, so we were looking forward to getting a little stretch out of the good ol’ legs.

Stacy Improves in Italy

    South Africa’s Stacy Lee Bregman came out best in a final day personal battle at the BMW Ladies Italian Open at the Sheraton Parco de Medici in Rome, Italy, when she persevered to card a final round of 71.
