Eastern Cape women’s rugby pioneer, Dorothy Tsotsobe has been honoured for her selfless contribution to the development of the women’s game in South Africa. She was unveiled as the 2011 gsport Hall of Fame inductee at the 6th Annual gsport Awards, at the prestigious Wanderers Club on Monday.
2010 gsport Hall of Fame recipient, Motlatsi Keikabile, is upbeat about the future of athletics in South Africa after having been elected vice-president of Athletics South Africa, saying that she is ready to get down to work.
gsport… for Girls! is on the look-out for six young women to volunteer their services to the 2011 gsport Awards, to assist with event registration duties, guest seating duties, and on-stage assistance during the Awards.

Athlete Caster Semenya, hockey star Pietie Coetzee and football ace, Noko Matlou, will battle it out for top honours at the 2011 gsport Awards, which takes place in exactly one month’s time, on 1 August 2011, at the prestigious Wanderers Club in Illovo, Johannesburg.
