Penny Heyns Shares Olympic Tips

As July marks the final month of preparation for so many prior to the Olympic Games I thought it wise to highlight some truths that I found very helpful during my three Olympic experiences.

Bridgette and Michele Team Up in K2

Following last weekend’s showdown in Szeged that settled the tussle between ace national sprint canoeists Jen Hodson and Bridgitte Hartley for the solitary women’s 500m K1 berth at the Beijing Olympics, Hartley will team up in a K2 with Michele Eray at this weekend’s World Cup in Germany.

South Africa’s sprint canoeing challenge at the Beijing Olympic Games in August will be shaped this weekend in the charged atmosphere of the canoeing mecca of Szeged in Hungary, where the season’s first World Cup regatta is serving as the final selection event.
