Team SA for 6th IAU Trail World Championships

The following women will represent Team South Africa at the 6th IAU Trail World Championship in Braga, Portugal on October 29, 2016.

Athletes:
Nicolette Griffioen (Gauteng)
Chantel Nienaber (Boland)
Landie Greyling (Boland)
Kerry-Ann Marshall (WP)

Reserve – Su Don-Wauchope (KZN)

Support Crew:
Team Manager: Linda Doke (WP)
Assistant: Altus Schreuder (Boland)

All these athletes will compete as individuals as well as in the team competition, where the first three runners over the finish line will count towards that competition.

The team will leave on Monday, October 24 and will be back in South Africa on Monday, October 31.

This is the strongest team South Africa has ever assembled for an international trail running championship, and with enough time to prepare, we are confident that we will see results that will make us all proud.

More details on the IAU Trail World Championships itself will be posted at a later stage.
