In a heartbreaking turn of events, the gsport team is left in mourning as we bid farewell to our esteemed colleague, Rudene Hare. The women’s sport community and gsport followers were shocked to learn of her untimely passing following a brief illness.

Rudene Hare, who has played a pivotal role in gsport’s Newsroom, will be remembered by her colleagues as a dedicated and passionate member of the team. Kass Naidoo, the Founder of gsport, expressed her deep sorrow over the loss and paid tribute to Hare’s significant contributions.

“Rudene was not just a colleague; she was a driving force behind gsport’s consistent presence on social media. Her commitment to the cause and her determination to go the extra mile were unparalleled. She was a true advocate for women in sport.”

Celine Abrahams, gsport’s Content Lead who worked closely with Rudene, shared her heartfelt sentiments. “Rudene’s dedication to gsport and women’s sport was truly remarkable. Her tireless efforts and creative energy were a driving force for our team. She will be dearly missed, and her legacy will forever be etched in our hearts.”
