In a dramatically widened window for submissions, the public is invited to nominate the outstanding women of South African sport from this evening through to 31 May 2026, giving sport lovers across the country more time than ever before to have their voices heard.

Twenty categories are open for nominations, spanning athletic excellence, coaching, media, sponsorship, and community contribution, recognising the full breadth of women and the supporters around them who give women’s sport its heartbeat.

“Nominations are the foundation of the gsport Awards,” said gsport founder Kass Naidoo. “Every name submitted is a story worth telling, and we encourage everyone who believes in the power of women’s sport to take part.”
