Mountain bike fanatics who are yet to submit entries for the Cape Argus Pick ‘n Pay Mountain Bike Challenge must hurry, as entries close 31 January 2008, and organisers say that no late entries will be accepted.
According to Arina Botha, co-organiser of the Mountain Bike Challenge, the event has already achieved over 50% of its entry limit of 3,500 participants.
"We know from experience that there is always a mad rush to secure last-minute entries and therefore want to encourage cyclists to secure their entries as quickly as possible to avoid disappointment," says Botha.
The MTB Challenge once again takes place at Boschendal Wine Estate on 2 March 2008, the Sunday before the Cape Argus Pick n Pay Cycle Tour, and offers four routes to cater for all ages, skill and fitness levels.
Entries can be submitted online, by visiting the MTB Challenge website.
