It was a day to remember as family, close friends, and those who work with gsport gathered to mark 18 years of advancing women’s sport through the gsport initiative.
To celebrate #gsportTurns18, we unveiled the GSPORT HOUSE pop-up at Aloe Urban Retreat, 28 Grosvenor Avenue, Craighall Park.
World record holder Simoné Kruger, reigning Momentum Athlete of the Year Andile Dlamini, Banyana Banyana star Thalea Smidt, and netballer Panasha Chiranga were among the star-studded guests at our inaugural house party.
gsport Founder Kass Naidoo’s mentor, Robert Marawa, made a special appearance to wish gsport well and look ahead to what’s next for South Africa’s leading women’s sport initiative.
The relaxed environment of this exclusive space, generously provided by Lianne Tiley, brought our vibrant community together for unforgettable moments. Instead of our usual restaurant celebration, we took a bold step with the GSPORT HOUSE concept.
The pop-up provided a unique venue for an exclusive celebration, reflecting the deep connections and sisterhood that define our community.
The occasion was truly special, transforming into a celebration filled with viral challenges, fabulous food and drink, and the best company.
The GSPORT HOUSE at Aloe Urban Retreat was the heart of our 18th birthday festivities. We were excited to share this space with everyone who has been part of our journey. It was more than just a house party—it was a much-needed bonding session to thank those who have supported gsport through thick and thin. Here’s to many more years of connection, celebration, and growth!
