Nunu Ntshingila (top right), Catriona Andrews, and Brigitte Willers enjoy some time out with Amanda Farrow, PJ Powers and Kass Naidoo, before the Qolf got underway on Friday.

gsport Editor Kass Naidoo joined celebrities, corporates, and Qolf enthusiasts at Avianto last Friday, for the AVISA/CANSA Qolf Day, in support of CANSA’s efforts to promote breast cancer awareness.

Celebrities including PJ Powers, Catriona Andrews, Amanda Farrow, Claudia Henkel, and Brigitte Willers, enjoyed a fun day with society megastar Edith Venter, Patron of the Gauteng CANSA Association and the brainchild behind the initiative.

Nunu Ntshingila and PJ Powers enjoy their round of Qolf, before joining the field in the day’s festivities.

QOLF is a short golf game, focused on chipping and pitching. Played on a 6,000m2 mini 9-hole QOLF course, complete with tee boxes, greens fairways and bunkers, this is no longer just a great family fun game and unique golf practice tool, but the ultimate, politically-correct golf day where everyone can have serious fun, with no intimidation for those who are not golfers.
