Back in 2005 Erna Wedemeyer was awarded Protea Colours for swimming and her photograph is proudly displayed for such in the LC de Villiers Hall at Tuks University.
However, a true competitor never ever really ceases from being a competitor.
Erna has just redirected her efforts.
Thus at MSSA’s 33rd Gauteng Provincial Championships, Erna earned her Gauteng Provincial Colours for the StarCraft title.
Not only has Erna earned her provincial colours, but Erna has also secured her berth for the prestigious National Team Trials to be held on 4 June 2016.
It is at such National Team Trials that the Protea Team shall be selected that shall represent South Africa at IeSF’s 8th World championships – Jakarta.
