The Point at Jeffreys Bay hosts the fifth and final event in the 2007 Billabong Junior Series, starting Friday and ending Monday 24 September.

Billed as the country’s premier series of surfing events, the season finale provide the right-breaking waves that peel down a rocky point, providing rides of up to 150 metres where the competitors will be looking to execute every manoeuvre in their repertoire.

A new champion will be crowned in the U20 girls division for the 11th successive year on Monday, and Tarryn Chudleigh goes into the final event as the 2007 series champion elect.

Chudleigh has built up an unassailable ratings lead in the first four events, but opens up the battle for second and third places, and a share of the series prize-pool earnings, between Chantelle Rautenbach and 13 year-old phenoms Bianca Buitendag and Sarah Baum.

Holly Armstrong (Kommetjie), Alice McGregor (East London) and Faye Zoetmulder (Port Elizabeth) are also still in with a mathematical chance, if other results go their way at J-Bay.

Pro Junior (U20) Girls Rankings:
1. Tarryn Chudleigh (Kommetjie)
2. Bianca Buitendag (George)
3. Chantelle Rautenbach (Melkbosstrand)
4. Sarah Baum (Athlone Park, KZN)
