South Africa’s Jahnie van Zyl won the girls under-14 individual title at the ITF/CAT Southern African Junior Championships in Harare, as announced on Thursday, 12 January 2023.
Congrats to Jahnie van Zyl and Reuben De Klerk, who won the girls under-14 and boys under-16 individual titles at the ITF/CAT Southern African Junior Champs in Harare.

Joining van Zyl on the podium was Roxy Bredenkamp, who had to settle for second place, following a 6-2 6-3 loss in the final to her fellow compatriot.
Meanwhile, in the U16 division Donna le Roux finished in third place.
The South African team has 12 members in the squad that are currently competing in the U14 & U16 ITF /CAT Southern African Junior Championships in Zimbabwe.
The competition began with the individual events from 7-10 January and will be followed by a team event from 11-15 January 2023.
