Leading South African wheelchair tennis star Kgothatso Montjane battled with left-shoulder pain as her journey in the women’s singles event came to an end in the semi-final round on Friday, 3 June 2022.
It's not to be for South African star @KGmontjane1 in the women's singles semi-finals at @RolandGarros. Montjane loses out to world No.1 and top seed Diede de Groot of Netherlands 6-0, 6-0.

Montjane took on World No.1 Diede de Groot, where the top seed claimed a 6-0, 6-0 victory.
The most celebrated para-athlete on the Momentum gsport Awards stage also celebrated her birthday on Friday as she turned a year older.
