South Africa’s wheelchair tennis sensation, Kgothatso Montjane and her partner Yui Kamiji progressed to the French Open doubles final on Friday, 9 June 2023.

The duo defeated Italy’s Pauline Deroulede and Emmanuelle Morch 6-1, 6-2, to march on to face Diede de Groot and Maria Florencia Moreno on Saturday, 10 June.

Earlier in the week, the most celebrated athlete on the Momentum gsport Awards stage lost in the quarterfinal round of the singles tournament.
