Time is running out to acknowledge the power of recognizing women in sport at the upcoming Momentum gsport Awards, the longest running women’s sport recognition platform in Africa. With the 18th edition just around the corner, nominations are still open for just over a week.
The Class of 2023 winners will be unveiled at the prestigious 2023 Momentum gsport Awards in Johannesburg this September, with over 500 entries already received. The gsport initiative is determined to ensure that every deserving candidate gets the recognition they deserve.
Nominations are the heart of the gsport initiative, playing a crucial role in discovering icons and role models of women’s sport. Founder Kass Naidoo’s mission is to inspire the next generation and foster inclusivity in the sporting industry.
There are 20 categories open for public nominations, encompassing athletes, coaches, influencers, and supporters. This is an excellent opportunity to give credit to those who have made a lasting impact on women’s sport.
