Former Banyana Banyana footballer turned corporate star Lydia Monyepao has been appointed as new SAFA CEO, as announced on Monday, 8 May 2023.
Monyepao makes history becoming the first woman in the role on a full-time basis, as she takes up the position with immediate effect, after the resignation of Tebogo Motlanthe. Previously, Pinky Lehoko acted in the position.
In May 2021, Monyepao took up her duties as SAFA COO and has since made strides in her position which has led to her latest appointment.
