Natalie Joins Suzaan in Medals

Pretoria-based Suzaan van Biljon was the talk of the SA swimming contingent in action in Italy, as she claimed gold in the 200 metres breaststroke, at the Grand Prix meeting held in Viareggio on Thursday.

Van Biljon, a hospitality management student at Pretoria University, took gold in 2 min 25,75 seconds, while Natalie du Toit (8:45,81 in the 800 metres freestyle final) claimed another third place in her event.

In the 50 metres breaststroke, Van Biljon (32,00s) finished just out of the medals.
