Co-founder of South African Women and Sport Foundation Ntambi Ravele was honoured with the Service Award and Pioneering Female Trustee Recognition accolade at the Laureus South Africa 20-year celebration on Saturday, 22 October 2022.

Ravele, who is rightfully considered as a champion for women in sport, left the education sector and joined sport in 1996. As they say, the rest is history as we’ve seen her smashing barriers in administrative roles.
In August 2022, she was appointed by Cricket South Africa as Independent Director to bring in a different dimension to the administration of cricket in South Africa.
Apart of Ravele’s many achievements, she was inducted into the gsport Hall of Fame in 2012.
