Action continued at the 2023 Netball World Cup in the afternoon/evening session, where South Africa’s #SPARProteas headlined the lineup at Cape Town International Convention Centre on Sunday, 30 July.
The South Africans had to deal with a resilient Jamaican side, in what was a tough encounter that ended in a loss for Norma Plummer’s side; 67-49.
In the other match played simultaneously with South Africa was the match between Tonga and Zimbabwe, where Tonga earned a 55-46 victory.
The earlier afternoon matches saw England defeat Scotland 62-37, while Uganda beat Trinidad & Tobago 74-34.
