Teagan O’Keeffe is the only South African elite woman to qualify for the 2013 UCI BMX World Championships in Auckland, New Zealand, from 24 to 28 July.

O’Keeffe has been participating in the World Cups in the early season, and has been fine-tuning her preparations ahead of the championship event.

In BMX racing, privateers can race in the World Championships in the Challenge and Cruiser Categories, and a strong SA team will be vying for championship titles in Auckland.
