Defending champion, Highveld, have a host of experienced National players in Cri-Zelda Brits, Charlize van der Westhuizen, Dane van Niekerk, Mignon du Preez and Kirsty Thomson. This tournament not only helps to groom future prospects, but also gives the National Women’s players the opportunity to get competitive match practice under their belts.

The ICC Women’s World Twenty20 is around the corner and most of the players will want to get some good knocks in ahead of the tournament,” said Highveld coach, Jacques du Preez.
