Richmond United displayed a spectacular performance to secure maximum points, after a 5-2 victory over Durban Ladies in the Hollywoodbets Super League on Saturday, 25 February 2023.
In Cape Town, UWC defeated their academic opposition, University of Johannesburg FC 2-0.
In other games of the day, Coal City Wizards and Thunderbird Ladies played to a 1-all draw. While, City Lads and University of Pretoria played to a stalemate in Port Elizabeth.
On Sunday, 26 February 2023, First Touch Academy put up a fight, however they lost 2-1 to defending champions, Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies at Oscar Mpetha Stadium at University of Limpopo.
The second game at the same venue saw Royal AM taking home three points after beating Copperbelts Ladies 3-1.
Elsewhere, JVW earned their first win, thanks to their captain, Robyn Moodaly’s goal to secure a 1-0 win over bottom of the log team, Ma-indies Ladies at Wits University Stadium, while TS Galaxy Queens defeated TUT FC 2-0.
