The SPAR South African netball team has lost its first match at the COSANA Games in Blantyre, Malawi.
South Africa was beaten 40-35 by a determined Malawi side, who led 19-17 at halftime.
They now have to beat Botswana this afternoon to qualify for tomorrow’s final.
South Africa beat Botswana yesterday 48-37, and scored a massive 61-29 win over the Malawi under-21 side in their opening game on Tuesday.
