Most recently, Challenor sadly had to miss the Comrades Marathon race due to an illness that she’s battled for the past year. Despite the shattering news of missing the 2023 ‘down’ run between Pietermaritzburg and Durban on 11 June, Jenna was part of the SuperSport TV commentary team. This, after the broadcasting giant announced a second channel dedicated to showing the women’s race. While the Supersport main feed took the entire race.

Now once again, as she continues to overcome a challenging past few months, Jenna is proud to be part of PUMA and says this is a sign of good things to come. A statement on her post read:

“Today I celebrate endings because they precede new beginnings and change brings possibility. I am so grateful to have people who are willing to back me when I’m at rock bottom, people who believe in me to come back and stronger too.

I am so PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT I have signed and am joining PUMA. I am now a PUMA ATHLETE and to say I am ecstatic is an understatement.

The magic in new beginnings and people who truly believe in you and your journey ahead is more powerful than anything, it’s time for me to be somewhere new now. Thank you @pumasouthafrica for this opportunity, I am beyond grateful.”

At last year’s “Ultimate Human Race” she finished fourth and we saw her in that memorable, dramatic finish, where she crawled to the finish line after her legs gave in to cramps in the latter stages of the race in one of the best performances of her career.
