Simonay Weitsz claimed gold medal in the Senior Women’s 4km USSA Cross Country event held in Mahikeng on Saturday, 01 October 2022.

In April 2022, Weitsz competed in the ASA Athletics Grand Prix where she finished in 8th place in the 800m race. Weitsz also competes in the 1500m races.
One of her Personal Best results was in the 800m discipline, with a time of 2:06:65 in Sasolburg in 2016.
