Reigning FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup champions, Spain have booked themselves a spot in the final after beating Germany 1-0 in the 90th minute of play at Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on Wednesday, 26 October 2022.
Spain struck a goal in the final minute of regulation time to seal a spot in this year’s final after super-sub Lucia Corrales’ goal helped her team.
In the other semi-final, Columbia claimed victory over Nigeria after a 6-5 penalty shootout in Goa, India.
The game went into penalties after the match ended in a 0-0 draw.
Colombia have reached the final for their first time.
