Spain successfully defended their FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup title, after a 1-0 victory over Colombia at D.Y Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Sunday, 30 October 2022.
The Spaniards took the lead in the 82nd minute after an own goal from Colombian defender, Ana María Guzmán Zapata.
They are now the first country to successfully defend their crown in the tournament.

Elsewhere, Nigeria beat Germany 3-2 on penalties to finish third in the tournament.
