The International Hockey Federation, the South African Hockey Association and North West University (NWU) will host the first Junior Hockey Women’s World Cup on African soil, in Potchefstroom from 5-16 December #GoGirls

The SPAR Hockey Festival at the University of Stellenbosch Astro Complex ended with a spectacular win for the home team, triumphing 5-1 over Canada. SPAR South Africa was thoroughly impressive on the night showing how much they have improved as a consequence of sustained international exposure.
Fierce Battle Ends All-Square
In a hot and blustering wind, the SPAR South Africa Women’s hockey team played out an exciting 3-3 draw with Ireland. This was South Africa’s penultimate match of the SPAR Hockey Festival being held at the University of Stellenbosch Astro Complex.
