Hosts Bangladesh won the toss to start the 2nd ODI and chose to bat, making a competitive 179/7 in their 50 overs. In reply, the Proteas lost 4 quick wickets before Alison Hodgkinson & Marizanne Kapp steadied the effort, but the match was won Dané van Niekerk, levelling the series 1-1 ahead of Sunday’s final fixture
