(Sun City, 20 January 2007) – Paraguay remain on course for a first Women’s World Cup of Golf title on their debut in the event following a tough day of foursomes at the Gary Player Country Club course on Saturday.

Laurette Maritz has never played a professional tournament at the famed Augusta National golf course, but says that the Gary Player Country Club course is the closest to what she believes playing at the home of the US Masters would be like.
South Africa and defending champions Sweden have been paired together in Friday’s opening Singles round of the Women’s World Cup of Golf at the Gary Player Country Club course, at Sun City in the North West.
