Western Cape Hosts Women’s Coaching Program
Former Banyana Banyana captain and 2009 gsport Hall of Fame winner Desiree Ellis is one of the course facilitators for the fifth KNVB Coaching the Coaches Program which is currently taking place in the Western Cape until 2 October 2012.
SAFA Mentors Aspiring Women Coaches
SAFA’s goal to coach 200 women coaches, as part of the KNVB programme, is on track. Its Technical Director of Women’s Football Fran Hilton-Smith says having qualified coaches at junior level can help improve the standard of grassroots football.
