Team SA Pick Up African Games Medals in Badminton, Wrestling and Swimming on Sunday
The Women’s Cricket team have progressed to the T20 semi-finals at the 13th African Games following a four-wicket victory against Nigeria. In Badminton, Johanita Scholtz won gold as Lillian Mbena secured bronze in the women’s 78kg freestyle wrestling.

Featuring a mix of youth and experience, the African Games will be a stepping stone towards bigger accomplishjments for the younger members of the Team SA, with the squad gunning for another big medal haul in Ghana, from 8-23 March 2024.
