SPAR Backs Hockey for R5m
There is good news for women’s hockey – supermarket giant SPAR has renewed its sponsorship of over R5 million for a further 3 years until the end of December 2009.

The Dutch team won the final match of their South African tour in convincing style by beating South Africa 5-0 in the Spar Hockey Festival at the Stellenbosch University Astro Complex on Tuesday.
World Champs for Hockey Festival
Stellenbosch will be the centre of attention for all hockey lovers towards the end of this year and early in 2007, when 22 international matches will be played in the SPAR Hockey Festival at the Stellenbosch University Sport Performance Institute.
