Want to be a Sports Administrator?

Athletics SA LogoThe Culture, Art, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport Education and Training Authority (Cathsseta) is looking for candidates, interested in sport, to complete a one-year learnership in Sports Administration in the Gauteng area.

20 candidates will be selected for the programme and placed at provincial athletics offices as well as sport clubs in Gauteng. Only unemployed individuals younger than 35 years of age, with a recognised matric certificate but not a tertiary qualification may apply for the position.

The learnerships will be from 1 October 2012 to 31 September 2013 and learners will receive an allowance. This Cathsseta-funded learnership is an NQF level 4 qualification.

Interested individuals can apply via email to Anta Marx, [email protected], before 7 September 2012. All applications must be accompanied by a CV of no longer than 3 pages, a certified copy of a matric certificate and a certified copy of the ID document.
