On Wednesday gsport … for Girls! celebrates its first birthday, and we are commemorating the special day with the launch of the gsport Awards.
The annual gsport Awards will recognise the valuable contributions women make to sport, and pay tribute to the outstanding women who serve as role models.

A host of top women in sport, media, business, and entertainment, will gather at the posh Westcliff Hotel on Wednesday to celebrate what promises to be a memorable morning with gsport.
The 2007 gsport Awards feature four award categories: Woman of the Year, Woman in Media, Style Star of the Year, and gSTAR (sportswoman) of the Year.
We will also unveil the 2007 Hall of Fame inductee, who will join swimming icon Penny Heyns (who was with gsport a year ago at the gsport’s launch), in the gsport Hall of Fame.
gsport member Nazli Thomas has won the opportunity to join the party at the Westcliff for gsport Awards, as part of our gsport Awards members competition.
