Entries are currently being taken for next weekend’s Greater Edendale Race in Edendale, Pietermaritzburg. The Comrades Marathon Association (CMA) will host the 13th edition of this much-loved 10km community race on Sunday, 17 November 2019 at the FNB Wadley Stadium.
The event is one of the CMA’s longest running CSI initiatives, which is hosted together with the Msunduzi Municipality, the uMsunduzi Pietermaritzburg Tourism Association (MPTA) and supported by media partner, Msunduzi Eyethu.
The race starts at 07h30 and costs R90.00 for licensed runners whilst unlicensed runners will pay R120.00 which includes a temporary licence. The cut-off time is 2 hours and 30 minutes; and entrants must be 14 years or older.
Runners can clickthrough to http://onreg.com/2019edendale or enter at Comrades Marathon House – 18 Connaught Road in Scottsville – between 09h00 and 16h00, Monday to Friday, until Thursday 14 November 2019. Entries will also be taken on race day at the FNB Wadley Stadium from 05h00 to 07h00.
Prize money totalling more than R20-thousand as well as additional lucky draw prizes are up for grabs whilst T-shirts and medals will be awarded to all finishers.
