The full field of 20 countries for the 2008 Women’s World Cup of Golf has been confirmed with Sweden, Japan, Taiwan, Spain, India and the Philippines joining the rest of the world’s best women golfers at Sun City from 18-20 January.

Tennis fever has hit the Mother City as over 400 tennis players from across the country arrive in Cape Town to participate in the Slazenger Western Province Classic, which takes place from 19 – 23 December.

As expected the final stage and overall women’s category victory in the Sabie Experience mountain bike race went to Amy Jane Mundy and Sara Muhl, who ended up more than 15 minutes quicker in the final standings than their nearest competitors.
