The Tennis South Africa junior national squads for the 2019/20 tennis season were announced during Sunday (6 October 2019) evening’s TSA Junior Awards Dinner in Potchefstroom.
The selections were made by a selection panel of five selectors and signed off by the President of Tennis South Africa – in line with the following guidelines:
Objective: To select 8 players per age group & gender.
Key Criteria: Combined ranking, Head to heads & results at key events.
Other key considerations: TSA Transformation Policy, 2019 Growthpoint Masters results (for 50/50 decisions), Previous national team representation and Attitude (team player, discipline on and off the court).
