Royal Queens defeated Mafikeng Ladies 7-1 in Stream B of the North West Sasol League at Lebone Ground on Saturday, 17 September 2022.
Queens made a comeback after their 2-1 defeat to Rustenburg Ladies in the Rustenburg derby last weekend and are currently second on the log with 36 points.
Defending champions, Tswelelang De’Scorpion lost 3-0 to log leaders NWU Tawana at Maquassi stadium, while Rustenburg Ladies continue to collect points after beating RM Diamond Ladies 2-0.
In Stream A, The Bold &The Beautiful secured maximum points at home, after defeating Platinum Arsenal 3-1 at Huhudi stadium.
Sitting in 6th position in Stream A, Clive United lost 4-0 to log leaders Bianca Academy at Alabama. Elsewhere, Milan FC served North West University their second loss, beating them 4-1 at Mooinooi Sports Ground in Brits.
Virgo Ladies Record First Win in Western Cape Sasol League:
In Stream A, Virgo Ladies recorded their first win after a 3-1 victory over Ikamva at Tygerhof Sports Complex.
Dangerous Heroes also got three points after defeating Burnley WFC 2-1 on Sunday, 18 September 2022.
Maties FC got their second draw after sharing the spoils with Glen Eagles, playing to a goalless draw at Lentelus on Friday, 16 September 2022.
Santos FC defeated Glen Eagles FC 6-0 at Cloetesville Sports stadium on Saturday, 17 September 2022 and are sitting in fifth place with 21 points in Stream B, meanwhile, UCT played to a 1-all draw with Spurs WFC at Kopano Astro turf.
Another double header on Sunday, 18 September 2022 ended in draws with Cape Town Roses and HBU playing to 2-all draw at NY116 Fields and Shosholoza FC and Milano Ladies FC taking one point home after playing to a 1-all draw at Chukker Road Sports Field in Landsdowne.
