Zimbabwe national women’s cricket team all-rounder, Anesu Mushangwe, was named in the SACA Women’s Team of the Year at the recent South Australia Cricket Association Awards.
The team of the year is voted upon by coaches and captains of each club.
The 25-year-old leg spinner and top-order batswoman enjoyed another superb season, starring with both bat and ball to inspire Glenelg Women’s District Cricket Club’s impressive outing in the SACA Premier Women’s 1st Grade competition.
Glenelg will play in the Grand Final of the Premier Women’s 1st Grade after they finished undefeated in the 50 over One Day competition.
They will face the winning team of the semi-final game between Sturt and Kensington on Saturday, 27 March.
