Banyana Banyana head coach Desiree Ellis announced a 26-member squad ahead of the Turkish Women’s Cup, which will take place from 13-23 February 2023.
The South Africans were given a boost as part of their preparations ahead of the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup, as they get to test themselves against Slovenia, Uzbekistan, Venezuela and Zambia in the upcoming competition.
Previously speaking to safa.net about the opportunity to play against global opposition, Ellis said: “We are very excited to be going to the Turkish Cup.
