Paarl’s Nicolene Martin has been promoted from assistant to head coach of Telkom Netball League team, Western Cape Southern Stings.
Martin has vast of experience when it comes to coaching in the netball scenes.
On her Facebook page, Martin said: “My journey will start with this amazing team, a DREAM came true!!! Yes, it will be challenging, I will be criticized but I know I have the best support system ever! All Glory to God!!! Head Coach of the Western Cape Southern Stings 2023!!!”
She has been part of the CPUT Netball team, as well as being Team Manager of the CUCSA side that won gold in Malawi in 2022.
