South Africa’s Chloé Tryon and Marizanne Kapp capped off The Hundred tournament in style as the competition ended on Sunday, 27 August 2023.

Tryon’s Southern Brave side beat Northern Superchargers by 34 runs in the women’s final of The Hundred at Lord’s, making it third time lucky for captain Anya Shrubsole in her final game before retiring.

Brave, twice beaten by Oval Invincibles in the previous two Hundred finals, were utterly dominant this time round.

Earlier this year, Tryon added the Women’s Premier League honours to her list of achievements.

While, Kapp earned the tournament’s Women’s Player of the Year award for her outstanding on-field performances for the Oval Invincibles.
