South Africa’s Erin Gallagher has been outstanding in the swimming pool grabbing her fourth silver medal in the women’s 50m Freestyle at the FISU Games in China on Monday, 7 August 2023.
Gallagher finished the race in a time of 25.05 seconds, just 0.76 seconds behind Yufei Zhang who set a new FISU record with a time of 24.29 seconds to grab the gold.
Gallagher concludes the World University Games as the top medal awardee for South Africa.
