Claire Terblanche: “I Hope to Make a Positive Difference”

Former South African International Claire Terblanche has signed for Phoenix Cricket Club in Dublin, as player/coach for 2023, as announced by the club.

Terblanche, who has coached at Western Province Women’s Cricket, holds a Level 3 coaching qualification and was named Coach of the Year by the Western Province Association for the 2021/22 season.

Speaking on her new venture, Terblanche told gsport: “I’m quite excited about the opportunity to learn outside of my comfort zone and hopefully build relationships looking into the future and the growth of girls and women’s cricket. Wherever I am, I hope to make a positive difference.”
