Celebrated mountaineer and gsport’s September 2007 gSTAR Deshun Deysel is on top of the world after watching the Springboks walk away with the coveted trophy for Best International Sports Team at the Laureus World Sports Awards, held in St Petersburg, Russia.

A special guest of Laureus on the night, and dressed for the evening by top design label Sun Goddess, Deysel rubbed shoulders with some of the world’s leading sports celebrities, describing it on her website as a magical occasion, adding that it was quite overwhelming to see so many famous sports people.

She also enjoyed a once in a lifetime experience partying with Springboks after their winning moment and got to pose for pictures with Bok stars, Percy Montgomery and Brian Habana.
